Color scheme design for interior and exterior, specifying NCS codes and RAL based on historical analysis and aesthetic assessment.

Permits and applications

Preparation of application texts for the municipality and cultural heritage protection in the county for SEFRAK-registered buildings. Applications for exemptions from TEK 17, municipal planning regulations, and zoning. Role as the responsible applicant, as well as design responsibility for architecture.

Floor plans

Drawing up new floor plans in consultation with the client to add new functions to older houses without significantly altering the house's historical character.

Landscape plans

Preparation of basic landscape plans for the planning of planting, terraces, outdoor areas, garden rooms, and parking.

Tender documents

Preparation of tender documents in the form of drawings and specifications, as well as obtaining bids from contractors and executors.

Grant applications

Preparation of applications for grants. Applications to the Cultural Heritage Fund, Sparebank Foundation, Directorate for Cultural Heritage, and other local financial support schemes.

About us

Kastler Skjeseth consists of four architects who primarily work on the transformation of buildings and locations, based on a thorough understanding of local history, traditions, and the natural surroundings.

The office is represented with several projects in the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage's Collection and regularly lectures on the preservation and upgrading of older buildings.

We offer assistance in all stages of a construction project, from the idea phase to construction and certification. The office has extensive expertise in architectural design and building permit management.
